Welcome to Project Haven!
Project Haven is a community-based, non-for-profit 501(c)3 organization, dedicated to providing opportunities for K-12th grade New York City students to expand their horizons and develop key lifelong leadership skills through after-school programs.
As a response to the recent budget cuts affecting New York City public schools, Project Haven seeks to serve at-risk-youth living in New York City through the development of social skills, and recreation. With the improvement of self-confidence and the promotion of cultural awareness we will be able to shape the leaders of tomorrow more effectively. We believe, if given ample opportunities to grow and develop skills that are universal to any stage of life via after-school programs, New York City children, especially those who come from low socio-economic backgrounds, will have the possibility to reach their full potential and beyond.
